Honda Ron Haslam Race School Experiences @ Donington Park

What time should I arrive at Donington?

You should plan to be at the circuit approximately 15 minutes from the sign on time on your Booking Confirmation sheet.

Please ring ahead if you are running late.

Once at the Circuit, head for Gate 21 Paddock Entrance, come through the Security Gate and follow signs for Ron Haslam Race School & Ron Haslam Race School parking.


What extra's are included with each course?

The course price includes hire of our bike, the hire of any kit from head to toe, *insurance & instruction.

*Insurance is provided for yourself and it also covers any damage of the bike should you come off. If you require any further information about our comprehensive insurance cover, contact the office.


Do I need to bring anything with me - kit, licence?

It's up to you regarding your kit, as long as your helmet is gold stamped and your leathers are either one piece or two-piece zip together - it will be checked by qualified staff before you enter the circuit.

You do not need to provide your licence when signing on.


Are spectators allowed?

Friends and family are very welcome to visit Donington Park free of charge to watch your experience event.

ON TRACK & PREMIER COURSES: Once kitted up, clients are taken for a briefing that lasts approx. 20 minutes. Then they are taken as a Group through to the Pit Lane area to meet the Pit Lane Staff, introduced to their Instructors and for their courses to begin. Spectators are more than welcome to view from permitted areas on Pit Lane/Pit Wall, Melbourne Loop for example.

ELITE COURSE: Once signed on clients must be kitted up and down in the Elite Room at their allotted time to be introduced to their Instructor. Spectators are more than welcome as above to view from permitted areas on Pit Lane/Pit Wall, Melbourne Loop for example.

No animals are permitted anywhere on site, with the exception of guide/assistance dogs.


Are refreshments available?

Hot / cold food & refreshments are available throughout the day in the Paddock Suite.


Can I provisionally book/hold places?

We don't provisionally book or hold places without a £50 non-refundable deposit payment.

To secure any places we ideally require full payment on booking.


Are deposits refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable.

The final balance shall be payable by the customer at least 28 days prior to the event.


Can I change my date?

Please make sure that you have booked the appropriate date, as any date changes will incur charges even for work related or family commitments.

Any changes must be received in writing 14 days prior to the event please note this only applies to Learn to Ride, On Track, Premier and Premier Plus Courses.

Elite Course - Please note that dates are not transferrable.

How do I get to Donington?

The Circuit post code is DE74 2RP and it is located next to East Midlands International Airport and M1 Junction 24 (Nottingham South). Click here for more information.


Are photo's available?

Yes, Thrill Pic our circuit photographer attend all our track days.

Photos may be booked, reviewed, purchased and collected on the day through Thrill Pic.


Are Go Pro cameras/helmet/body/bike cameras allowed on circuit?

We do not allow body, bike or helmet or Go Pro cameras on circuit with our event.

This is for health, safety & insurance reasons.

We do have a circuit photographer you can book photos with on the day and you can take them home with you. If any of your spectators have cameras they can film you from pit lane and various spectator areas.


How do I organise a group / Corporate booking?

With a group booking we do offer discount.

Preferably there is one main contact who deals with the group / corporate booking, when contacting the office.

Suites are available at an extra cost for groups of 10 or more please contact the office for further details.
